Sample Cell concentration- about 10 million cells per ml. The Moflo is equipped with an Automated Sample Station (ASS) which accepts 12x75mm and 15ml conical centrifuge tubes. Cells can be in regular media.
Tubes for collection of sorted cells- 12x75mm tubes, 15ml and 50ml centrifuge tubes.
Collection tubes should some have media in them(approximately 1ml for 12x75mm tubes, 2-3 ml for 15ml tubes and 10 ml’s for 50ml collection tubes).How many cells should you prepare?- The MoFlo can easily process 50-100 million cells per hour for primary cells at system pressures between 30-60PSI. Larger cells and “sticky” cell samples may require significantly lower data rates.
Always put your samples through a 40-70um mesh.

Tubes for collection of sorted cells- 12x75mm tubes, and 15ml centrifuge tubes. Collection tubes should some have media in them (approximately 1ml for 12x75mm tubes, 2-3 ml for 15ml tubes.
How many cells should you prepare?- The Elite Sorter can process 10-20 million cells per hour for primary cells at system pressures of 8 PSI. Larger cells and “sticky” cell samples may require significantly lower data rates.
If you are using the Elite sorter you are required to bring 1X sterile PBS for “sheath” (2.5 L for a full day, 1 L for half a day of sorting time respectively).
Always put your samples through a 40-70um mesh.
