CRL Facilities

Molecular Imaging Center
The facility is designed to serve the entire campus community from biological research to chemistry, physics and material science applications. This facility specializes in multi-photon microscopy (2p and 3p), second harmonic [SHG] imaging, and fluorescent lifetime imaging microscopy [FLIM], and also includes confocal and deconvolution microscopy.

  Gene Targeting Facility
The transgenic/knock-out facility at Berkeley has generated hundreds of transgenic mice and made numerous gene-targeted mice. Characterization of these mice has led to 50 papers published in international journals.

CHPS Imaging and Mouse Cores and Infectious Disease facility. These facilites are designed to provide access to Imaging and Mouse facilities for investigators working with mouse infection models. Staff and facilities are are integrated with Molecular Imaging Center and Gene Targeting facility.

Flow Cytometry Facility
The CRL Flow Cytometry Facility offers technical support for the measurement of individual cell fluorescence and individual cell sorting.

The Proteomics/ Mass Spectrometry Laboratory
has moved to B244 Stanley Hall.
