Since its inception in 1992 by Astar Winoto, with James Allison and
David Raulet, the Gene Targeting Facility at UC Berkeley run by Dragana 
Cado (and Chulho Kang since 1998) has generated hundreds of transgenic
mice and made numerous gene-targeted mice.  Characterization of these mice has led to more then 50 papers published in international journals aswell
as several still yet to be published findings.
